It just looked like he just tweaked it. He was limping a bit walking off but then he was drilling on the mat during break before 165. I don't think he'd do that if serious injury.

Great match by Spratley getting a takedown near the end of the 3rd period and riding out for overtime. Then gets a go around for a great win. Clutch takedowns at the end of the 3rd period for each of his wins. Witcraft had a solid win. Jamison asleep at the beginning of the match and looked poor the whole 1st period. But gets a takedown late in the 3rd and then in overtime for the win. Ho showed no signs in over time of being wore down by his cut. Young was really disappointing in being asleep in the first period. He did not finish takedowns and gave up takedowns off his shots or off his opponent's shots. Sheets battled but lost in overtime off a weak shot. Too many wrestlers did not seem ready to wrestle in the 1st period. Our strength is in the upper weights. I liked Spratley and Witcraft not so much anyone else. I can't complain about Cutter Sheets he was small.

Alright so what is up with Plott? He’s looked lethargic in all of his matches this season, regardless of results. Seems like something is up. Am I crazy?

Well mixed results on the back half. Amine didn't do much until the 3rd period where he had 2 takedowns and a stalling point and got a major. Hamiti was outstanding with domination and then got a quick pin putting his opponent on his back for 1 second. Plott wrestled unbelievably sloppy shooting and losing a leg, foot or ankle over and over again. Poor match by Plott but wins.. Surber wrestled out of control and sloppy also. But he did win. Hendrickson was great with lots of takedowns and got the pin with a Johny Thompson move. Easy win but not impressive.
Guy looked way bigger and longer that Carter. That length gave him trouble in finishing shots

Not to mention this is DT’s first home dual and a HUGE recruiting weekend. HS football playoffs are tonight and small schools have started basketball so OSU needs to do all it can to get people in GIA.
Squad looked good and we were the better conditioned side which won us the close matches. Crowd was awesome, but I expected more attendance. I'm hoping Sunday will be larger. Gilmans intensity in the corner is fantastic. He was screaming at the ref to hurry up and begin Spratley's OT and they did not make that mistake again. Mark Branch is doing a fine job at WY those men showed up ready to scrap.
