OK STATE VS. ARIZONA STATE

Disappointed you didn’t end with “Fartz Out”
I dropped the ball lol. I've got a lot going these days and my mind is running about a million miles an hour. That's why I haven't been on here quite as much lately. Let me say I love this forum and getting to discuss our COWBOYS! Looking fwd to CKLV and a couple of full days of Cowboy wrestling and hanging with great people.

I probably had too high expectations to start the season but overall I’m very pleased.

I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed with Spratley’s first couple matches but I think Ricks and Renteria are better than I initially gave them credit for. His match against Volk was awesome and it was fun seeing him destroy the ASU backup yesterday.

Witcraft and Hughes have both looked good so far though it was against Inferior competition. As Fartz said I wish Chlebove would’ve gonna yesterday as would’ve given us a better gauge of where Hughes is at.

A little disappointed with Tagen and Carter. Tagen is undefeated which good but it feels like he does just enough to get the W. Not giving up on them yet obviously. They have plenty of time to right the ship.

Sheets is a baller and was great this past weekend. Hopefully Travis can get healthy soon. Amine has been a bit disappointing. That match against Ruiz was frustrating. He just needs to finish and he wins that. Oh well though it’s still early.

Not much to say about Hamiti, Plott, Surber, and Hendrickson other than that They’ve been fantastic.

I deleted until it can be verified. Last thing I want to do is throw someone's name out there and it be the wrong person.

Were you as upset as I was with the "NC" matches from PSU this weekend? I understand the why but damn as a fan I wanted to see those matches!
Not at all. PSU wrestled every bout against other teams, and even bouts where a starter position was at stake. That said, the 3 matches in question had no upside and all downside. PSU wrestled 73 bouts on Sunday. Did I need to see 76 bouts? No. The outcome was clear. It's about March. Not November.

Maybe someone already mentioned this and I missed it but, I thought the ref (same ref both nights?) was very bad. Inconsistent on stalls, fleeing the mat and it didn't seem like he knew what a nearfall was.

Different refs.
I agree, the Sunday ref was not good. Out of position all night and our wrestlers had to pin their guy to get any back points. Very hesitant to call stalling except on Hamiti and he called ASU for locked hands but he didn't give us a point. I hope he doesn't return to GIA anytime soon.

I think she is just a weird superfan
Yeah she seems a half bubble off for sure. I was looking through some of her pictures and posts and she's very strange. One post she was talking about being in RBY and Aaron Brooks house and she was praying all over their clothes and other personal belongings without them knowing about it, very strange. Pretty crazy all the access she gets to everybody, her pictures are a who's who of wrestling.

Yeah her posts with Dee and McComas kinda creeped me out a bit. Talking about how they came into her life and stole her heart and how it was a divine appointment from God. Sounds borderline romantic.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned but IMO Young and Jamison need to just flip weights. Young doesn't seem to have the strength to finish on these guys and Jamison's cut to 141 is prob affecting his performance a little.

Don't see that happening.

I doubt Young even certified at 141
IMO Young was more skilled than either guy he wrestled last weekend. Have to remember he hasnt wrestled much in two years. He just needs to slow down and finish his TDs. He's not going to run through every guy like he did on the road two weeks ago. But, he's shooting a ton AND getting to legs. This is far more then weve seen from some of the other guys consistently. It's a long season and I believe this staff will get him ready.

I would throw Cutter in at 149 and see how he competes. It's always good to have competition it makes everyone work even harder. I think Young is better but I would use Cutter as well
