I do comment on areas of the law I do not have professional experience in.
I also make it clear that I don’t have specific professional experience handling those areas when I do rather than claiming that I am “trained” in the area and have more expertise than I do.
That way, I don’t have to get all butt hurt when I’m called out on my claims.
Many of those things you would get into......”eye contact, body language, voice inflections, specific memories of some details vs. inability to remember other basic details”....would be wholly different for a victim of trauma vs someone being audited or in a job interview.
That’s why I asked about your actual training and experience.
In the long run, I don’t think this entire sordid affair changes one person’s mind about the the issues or changes one vote in the Senate one way or the other.
