Nov 5, 2024: Trump vs Kamala

You say 7 swing states but its not. He HAS to win one of the blue 3 or the other 4 don't matter.
He doesn't have to win one the 3 'blue wall' states. He has other paths. It will be much harder, but...the issue is those three states are where they have the best cheating in place.

Biden won NV and AZ last time, Trump is up bigly in both. In fact NV is likely to be called for Trump this weekend. Those two states are 17 EVs, which cancels out either WI (10) or MI (16).

Plus, MN, NM, VA and NH are also in play. Trump claims CO is as well, and pubs continue to extend their EV *lead* in NJ.

We currently have at least 11 swing states. I suspect there are likely about 15 states in play.

I'm not sure Shapiro didn't turn Kamala down. He knows she doesn't possess the intelligence to run the country, knows she is a radical left wing radical and didn't want his political ambitions. destroyed by Kamala.
I suspect a lot of people turned the left down. A Newscum/Whittmer ticket would have been infinitely easier for the left and media to sell to America. Kamala/Walz is just about the worst possible ticket that could have been assembled.

Pubs gained another 5k or so votes on Tuesday in NJ, was up by 9k last I saw.
Oh BTW, Dems were up over 30 points in EV this time in 2020 in NJ.

I don't think people realize how low propensity voters (voters who rarely vote) are turning out for Pubs so far. That's the bandwagon affect. Pubs, and especially Trump, are the cool brand right now, and people that otherwise wouldn't vote will do so to be a part of the 'cool' club.

Will be some surprising results on ED if this continues. Of course the left will still try to steal, so...

If she would’ve picked Shapiro, trump would absolutely be an underdog right now IMO

picking Walz over Shapiro will be looked back as one of the all dumb political decisions if she loses
Shapiro would have lost her Wisconsin, same result and maybe Michigan. The Palestinian supporters would have revolted.

They probably thought PA was so pro Biden that they did not need Shapiro for PA. The Dims have taken so many voting blocks for granted in this election. They think the can run the same Obama/Hillary divisive and hate filled campaign and win on not being Trump. More than any other previous election since the Dims went down this path, more and more Americans are seeing through it. The Dim commercials are demeaning, they assume white men tell women how to vote and so wives just need to lie. Obama talking down to black men. Basically saying a comedian's use of the word garbage has more weight than what a sitting Prez says. The list is LONG and best of all, they are seeing now how bad MSM is about lying.

Saw a stat last night: 86% of Gen Z gets their news online, their entire life an internet has existed. As the public ages out, legacy MSM is going to die for 2 reasons: First, they lie like hell and beholden to corporations that uses MSM to influence elections. 2. Gen Z does not use them. Elon's purchases of X may have guaranteed Americans being able to exercise their First Amendment rights. It is going to be much harder going forward as MSM dies for Corp Inc to influence the outcome of elections. This is why Dims want to control the First Amendment and what people can say.

It's worth noting that the Dems that claim Kamala can still win are counting on independents and women both breaking heavily for Kamala, especially on Election Day. Rasmussen has said they have seen neither, if anything, they have polled Trump too far TO THE LEFT. Meaning they have underestimated his support if anything.

You may be right, and Trump wins in a landslide (my sincere hope). But I don't believe Trump wins any of those additional states you list, without carrying one of the blue wall 3 (MI, PN, WI). And just winning the Sunbelt only gets Trump to 268. The scary thought is that you could legitimately have a scenario where Trump wins the National vote but Kamala eeks out a 270-268 electoral victory as Trump turns states like NM, NJ, VA and NY more purple but not by enough to claim any of them.

You think the Pro-palestinians are gonna suddenly vote for Trump? Maybe it suppresses their turnout some, but I always struggle to believe that those on the extremes are going to vote for the opposite party simply because the group that aligns with 98% of the time otherwise didn't in this one scenario. Especially when the other side (Reps) are likely to be even more pro-Israel than the Dems are.

"Both parties have taken to early voting: statewide, Republicans are outpacing Democrats, 192,729 (38%) to 183,262 (36%). Democrats still have an edge on vote-by-mail ballots returned: 396,252 (60%) to 135,485 (20%)."

The EV numbers are certainly indicative of NJ turning purplier, but a 3:1 Vote-by-mail advantage for Dems is going to be hard for Reps to overcome.

I think it's a suppression and a demonstration thing. How would it look if they protested everything Harris did up until the election. They would have done nothing but embolden Trump voters, and suppressed Harris voters while not voting Harris as well.

Name a worse one (without being ridiculous).

I'm struggling.

I guess leaving Joe in place maybe, but he was doing better after the debate than she is now.
