I am on record on this Board saying every single executive order by every President should be challenged in court and over turned until this shit stops. The only thing a Prez should do is sign bills from Congress or veto them, enact his temporary war powers, and use his cabinet and leadership to fix shit like the current problems in the airline industry, or providing leadership for a hurricane, etc…

How about a compromise? To pay for every dollar forgiven on student loans take the money from the Defense Department budget.

Why do we need to forgive any amount of anyone's students loans? We can solve the problem without costing anywhere close to the same amount of money by lowering the interest rates on existing student loans to zero. Give those that pay a period of something like 5 to 10 years to pay off the debt with zero interest. Those that don't pay don't deserve a damn thing.
This goes against sleepy's campaign. Knucklehead will throw out another stimulus trying to buy '24.
I’m not for forgiving the debt, but I’d much rather do that than provide more war-making material for NeoCons who already enjoy more free government money by orders of magnitude than student loan forgiveness would ever amount to.
While I agree I do not want any more wars, we disagree on defense spending. In my view every dollar spent on defense keeps us out of wars. The problem we have is a corrupt government that pushes other corrupt governments into wars.
