No student debt relief

2 for 2! The democrat vote buying machine is sputtering.
Now that Democrats can't spend tax payers hard earned money buying votes, can we finally get around to solving the problem?
I understand some of these kids have been screwed over by these colleges that are little more than leftist indoctrination centers and would like to give them a hand up. Notice I said hand up, not a handout.
I wouldn't have a problem if Congress were to pass legislation that rewrote existing student loans to zero percent interest, provided borrows met certain requirements. Those requirements would be borrows must be paying monthly payments on time for a period of 12 months. At that point the interest would be waived and the next 12 month period would start with the same requirements and the same waiver of interest. For those that do not, the interest remains the same and accumulates as it should. It's time this country gets back to rewarding people that are responsible, not irresponsible.

Has anyone dealt with the under 30 crowd lately? Very few good workers as most can't get off tik tok long enough to do their work. Hand a cashier a twenty and correct change on a $2.60 purchase and watch the carnage. If it wasn't so frustrating, it would be funny.

I don't give a shit if it is smart election strategy or not. There's a framework for what powers each branch of the government has and how far they extend. And this decision showed once again that the president doesn't get to legislate via executive order. If it's good policy, pass it through congress and sign it into law like it should be.
So all the blue collar workers who could not afford to go to college or did not want to go in to debt for college have to pay for someone else’s student loan. Only 47% of the public approve of it, not even a simple majority.
It is the colleges that should forgive it and pay back the banks.
