You don't try to reinvent the wheel with older guys as a new coach. You see what they do good and make it better and try to fix mistakes. With younger guys you mold them and teach them the system you want to wrestle. What DT is doing this year with the starters is way different than what he will be doing the road with developing young talent. So this year will make fans excited but won't show us much in terms of pure developmentBut there is also a lot too older guys tending to fade and bad dudes being bad dudes as youngsters.
It’s a tough topic because I don’t think there is much nuance to it. Cael is so good that it’s clear cut, black and white imo.
If DT is what we hope then he’s already assembled enough talent to push before 2030.
If not then 2030 won’t help us
