Murin is simply the better wrestler....G's lack of offense is why he won't AA IMO
Carr is a shocker, Eierman not so much because I think he is wrestling with a torn ACL. Daton did not seem to be moving his feet like he needs to, to score. But he did win and that is what is important. He is going to have to wrestle way, way better to win the National title. But maybe tomorrow he will be wrestling his best. He was way below that tonight.
I think whenever John is done my choice for replacement would be Coleman followed by Popalizio sp?
Both wining as much as OSU with much less history and support.

Dustin is ahead 5 to 1 with riding time also in the 2nd period. Dustin wins 8 to 2 to get to the quarters.
Plott with the 8-2 decision......another good win for the young cowboy!!!
Geer is behind 2 to 1 in the 1st period. Geer lost 5 to 1 to the 1st seed.

I watched dean of Penn. st. wrestle who got the ref calls his way and won a close match. Besides having such good wrestlers, few injuries they also get the calls from the refs.
I’ve been impressed with some of his wrestlers today. They wrestle smart and they are strong for their weights.
Young getting dominated on bottom......goes 0-2 NCAA's, which isn't too surprising... Just a little to light in the a$$. The weight room is calling his name!
Carter Young lost 7 to 4 to Miccic. He got 2 takedowns but was very poor on the bottom which is not a surprise. Young is now out of the Tournament.
OSU needs a major change and needs to stop doing what isn’t working anymore. We are falling behind more every year I love John but he needs to shake things up big time
I think some of our young and incoming freshmen are like this. At least I get that impression. But we are definitely getting outsmarted on the mat.
We need Rob Glass to take a bigger role with the wrestling team.G Calcagno is not getting it done

I don’t know what the answer is to fix the program but it’s very stale and stalled out.
Sheets won by decision to advance to the 2nd round of consolation. I think he will need to face David Carr.
Nothing like making weight one last time for that.
