At this point, would it make more sense to use any money raised for a new wrestling facility and put it in to NIL instead?

I will say coach Holder saw this coming at least five years ago. He told Kenny G that he would be better off putting this softball stadium money into a fund to pay the players instead of a new facility.

I’ll continue beating the drum that Spratley is a career 125. He struggles with the guys who are sucked down 133’s wrestling at 125, but I also think that’s his secret weapon that let him make it to the finals. He didn’t have to kill himself for 3 straight days to make weight, unlike guys like Strickenberger at WVU.

What I have heard is that he wants to go 165. He is wrestling 175 his senior year but I think 175's have a size advantage and really good 175's Dee is not stronger than them and that makes the match closer. College 174 are very strong, so I think 165 is the weight class for him and I think he wants to beat Mesenbrink for his 1st title.

Now, that would put a cherry on our season next year. It’s a vision quest.

Also, at that dual of the 2 best teams in United States, Jax cut to 126 to wrestle Joe Bachman who ran from him and wrestled 132 on that dual. So, this year he made 126 just to wrestle a tough opponent and was upset that Bachman wisely avoided the beating that he knew was coming his way.

Rin is a natural 125. I had him as the likely starter this year at 133, but Figs for one year only gives Rin more time to grow into folkstyle. When we saw him in February he was 3 months or so into folk. Really like his talent though.
