Random question, but I got to thinking about it at the dual today. Can the wrestlers feel any difference between a mat that is elevated and one that is flat on the hardwood? It sure sounds different when there is a mat return. From a spectator perspective, I prefer the raised mat.

Overheard Coleman say Carter wants to move on with life. My guess on Doucet is that Taylor told him after the AF match he would not start. Taylor doesn't show a lot of emotion but was visably upset after that match and Doucet's lack of aggression.

lol Sinclair didn’t seem to handle getting manhandled like that very well. Also was that a Figure 4 around Plott’s head/neck on his takedown? It happened so quick it was hard for me to register

Plott put so much effort into getting a pin in the first two periods that he was out of gas at the end. It sounds like Hawk will be back by Tulsa so Plott just needs to win.

Dustin spoke at our Fellowship of Christian Athletes event after the match (as did Carter Young, Luke Surber, Wyatt Hendrickson, Gonzalez and on other). Dustin said he was spent at the end and made a tactical error during the scramble. He said he had nothing left.
