So, to break this down, I am 2.5 times more like to be struck by lightning than be killed by a gun. But, if I am shot and struck by lighting simultaneously, I am 45 times more likely to die from the gunshot wound than the lightning bolt?
You really do just skim. Within one line of the 45 you picked out I said it doesn't diminish the point, which was guns aren't likely to kill you. The post that you picked the 35K out of contains this line "I don't care about gun control. It is a distraction. Especially after mass shootings. "

I don’t remember the context of that statement but I don’t feel sorry for him anymore. I think he needs to be in a mental institution where he could get the most out of life.
