Man, Trump going in dry on Dems tonight in MT (nm)

He was wrong...but is this really a lie to get worked up over? I see this as not looking it up rather than a lie.

Something he could’ve researched on his phone for 5 maybe 10 minutes before he spoke out isn’t a lie? How much leeway does this guy get?

Is he wrong? Again...you are coming in weak.

When I think of political lies, I think of, “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” and “Americans will save $2500 annually on healthcare”.

Those are lies. Did he have any like those?

He lied from Day 1 about the size of his inauguration compared to said president. He’s had plenty of whoppers.

As much as Obama had at least. Maybe more since he's getting shit done.

A lie requires an intent to deceive. A mistake of fact is just that: a mistake. Those are two very different things.

That said, the dude makes a lot of mistakes. And occasionally lies, in my opinion.

The fact that you’re concerned about what I say compared to your POTUS is

1) a bit triggered, and obsessive, and,

2) tribalist. Your heels are dug in, it’s ok. I believe you even used the word “team” before referencing myself.

Pom poms all around.
The fact that you come to this board trying to act like you know what you are talking about, consistently get called on it, then run away like a wounded puppy with your tail between your legs brings me great enjoyment.

Until you own up your stupidity I will continue to remind you about it. It’s a pretty simple thing...you can even cut and paste the following.

“I have no idea how the jobs report works, and don’t know anything about labor markets. I saw that the unemployment rate ticked up, and due to my raging case of TDS, I became giddy and posted about it before realizing it was actually a good thing for POTUS’ economy.” - Clinton Scott

You are welcome.

What I learned from this thread: Trump supporters are to politics as Baylor fans are to college football. Thanks fellas...

Google it maybe?
Per UD:
A reason to shout out this word is..To be in utter Dismay, to see something so insanely intense, You'll shit bricksfor a week, Handicapping you to walk like you have a dildo shoved up your ass.
You have a dildo up your ass? What is with you guys and ass play?

And then there is the middle ground of being reckless with the truth and not really caring whether your factual assertions are true or not.

Which is where I think he usually resides.

Interesting possibility. But would his ego allow him to risk being reckless and not caring if it’s true? Wouldn’t he want to be right and therefore he spouts off incorrectly by mistake?

I **KNEW** I should have taken more psychology classes.

so, making fun of gays now? Why do you go there?

To be clear: it is disgusting to use rape analogies to celebrate the perceived domanation of your political team over another.

His ego and I’d would lead him to believe people will believe whatever he tells them, IMO.

Do you see him as someone that is worried about risk or thinks a long time before he makes a claim? Especially when so many of these “mistakes” could have easily been avoided with a little research?

Even better, do you recall him ever admitting that he was wrong about anything? I can’t.

Nope.

Never admitting his “mistakes” works hand in hand with never really caring about his factual assertions being true in the first place.

Perhaps so.

Wait. Did he apologize to Carly Fiorina? I’ll have to look that up.

There was that one time...

"Trump, Oct. 8, 2016: I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize. … I’ve said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between the words and actions of other people. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days. See you at the debate on Sunday.”

But that quickly became:

Trump, Oct. 10, 2016: This was locker room talk. I am not proud of it. I apologize to my family, I apologize to the American people. Certainly, I am not proud of it. But this is locker room talk. … Yes, I am very embarrassed by it and I hate it, but it’s locker room talk and it’s one of those things.

Which then was:

But something deeper has been consuming Mr. Trump. He sees the calls for Mr. Moore to step aside as a version of the response to the now-famous “Access Hollywood” tape, in which he boasted about grabbing women’s genitalia, and the flood of groping accusations against him that followed soon after. He suggested to a senator earlier this year that it was not authentic, and repeated that claim to an adviser more recently.

So yeah, never mind, you guys are right.
