Lineup in Two years?

Congrats on getting Fix. I'm curious as to how your lineup stacks up in two years as it seems most of the top recruits are lightweights. My educated guess would be:

125 Piccinini/Fix
133 Piccinini/Fix
141 Brock
149 Gfeller
157 Smith
165 Rodgers

Who is more likely to be at 125 between Fix and Piccinni? I assume Brock will move up to 141, is that what you expect? Do you think Smith and Rodgers each move up a weight and open up another spot in the middle for one of the following guys: Boo Lewellen, Wyatt Sheets, Tristan Moran, Lincoln Olson. If so, who do you think makes the lineup?

I think we redshirt Joe Smith a year, maybe next year. We need to get a HWT. transfer somehow.

I would put marsden at 184.

Fix said at his signing he will wrestle 125. He will RS next year and then we will see but not knocking Pic who is very good but I believe Fix will wrestle where he wants either 125 or 133.
I am not going to make predictions on the lineup two years from now as too many things can happen but we have to get a good heavyweight next year.

Jonce Blaylock and Tristen Moran are looking very tough. I could see one of those guys slipping into the lineup pretty easily. They just keep winning and beating guys they are not supposed to be beating.

If Lewallen can't make the team, due to injury or what not, I would love for him to transfer to OU! He's one I really really wanted coming out of high school.

Got me thinking which is always dangerous....I think most high school wrestlers look at the depth situation at the university they commit to and see at least the opportunity to start for the school within a year or two....at what point if it appears they may the never start for a top ranked program like OSU do they consider a transfer? Now I know achieving your degree is and should be the top priority when attending college however, are most athletes fine with being a career back up? There is nothing at all wrong with that.... and I realize kids fall in love with the university both socially and academically, but could they achieve wrestling greatness if they didn't sit behind a guy like Heil or Dring for years. I also realize that there are a ton of circumstances that come into a decision to transfer. Just quietly wonder how many kids who maybe were good enough to be an AA elsewhere never got that chance because they were behind an NCAA champ or just someone they could not beat to get that starting roll. Again... I am not criticizing anyone for transferring or not transferring, just wonder how many kids experience that dilemma.
