Nah. Just makes Tulsi a right wing nazi.

Just like every other actual liberal that steps out of line.
Worthy of 100 likes!

And yes, Syskatine. the US dollar has 100 cents and 1000 mils. Remember the directive from my test? Name the unit of length upon which the US dollar is based. It's the meter since 1792. The US is the first English speaking country with a decimal/metric currency. Are you getting it yet?

Doesn't this by definition make the Durham report a bipartisan finding.
If we were to apply the left's definition yes, one Republican agreeing with Democrats would make it a bipartisan finding but when it's one Democrat agreeing with Republicans it's not. It's easy to understand if you hold the same principles leftist have, the principle of double standards.

I'm still not getting it, man.

I think it is about time to quit calling Tulsi Gabbard a liberal. She seems to have evolved into a moderately left leaning libertarian. I think it is interesting that she is not "going away" after she abandoned her House seat and went into private life. What do you think are odds are she is positioning herself to run for president again? She would have no chance as a Democrat, they have washed their hands of her. So maybe she could join the Libertarian Party and name Justin Amash as her VP of choice. Which party do you think a Gabbard/Amash ticket would hurt the most? Amash is a moderately right-wing libertarian that left the House when Tulsi did. He had changed his affiliation from Republican to Libertarian earlier, mostly as a backlash to his refusal to rubber stamp everything Donald Trump demanded of Republicans. How do you think the American public would react to a Libertarian candidacy of a woman of color, moderately left leaning libertarian and a man of color, moderately right leaning libertarian as a voting option? In today's climate of disgust with both parties, which party would have the most to fear from such a ticket? Do you think a Gabbard/Amash ticket could garner as much as 10% of the vote? I would ask @my_2cents to stay out of this conversation because we already know what he would say, and it would only divert attention away from the serious intent I mean for these questions to be.

2012Bearcat once defined math's simplest equation on these pages. I won't ask him to waste time again.

Well, I listened in once on an exchange between you and JD about this high falutin' 'rithmetic. He's just a country prosecutor and he corrected you. Am I remembering that right?

I don't know, Sunny, I don't typically take my math from lawyers, that kind of threw me.

I’m watching this thread drop down the line, so I want to bump it because I would love to know what people think, with the exception of @my_2cents because I already know what he’ll say and it would only divert attention away from the questions. Anybody got an opinion they’d like to share?

Tulsi is the lady politician version of Greenwald and Taibbi.

I’m not sure what you mean by that, but the opinion I’m looking for is how well do you think a Gabbard/Amash ticket would do in 2024? And from which party do you think they would siphon the most votes? I know you are EXTREMELY reluctant to voice an opinion on this board, but do me a solid and do it this one time. I promise you it won’t hurt!

They will do poorly and siphon from the most naive elements of both parties of which there are more Democrats

This is one of the things I most “admire” about any post by my friend @07pilt, the ability to write cryptically, almost in code or a foreign language, so that one must scrutinize every word until he thinks he has the answer. So, you think the ticket would take more votes away from Democrats, but will do poorly. How poorly? Enough to swing the election to Republicans? Is it possible they could approach 10%? What do Libertarian candidates usually get? Less than 1%? Could Tulsi and Amash garner more? Work with me here, Pilt! It won’t hurt you to be sincere this one time.

I will stand by my stance- we need a non bought off politician who has run a biz and/ or been raped by the Fed and local
Gov by tax theft and stolen freedoms. Drastic times call for drastic measures... Although is
It drastic?! Have we been brainwashed to think that Someone that hasn't ran a company AND balanced a budget many times should be running the government- Holy bonkers batman!!!

I mean who in the hell CANNOT
Do better then Pedo Joey, Justin Castro, Merkel,
Macron, Arden et al?! Good God they are flat out - On purpose ruining the whole damn planet.

No more politicians- the belief that we need more politicians in office is mind boggling.

No more than 4%. Most Tulsi fans don't vote

Ouch! That one hurt! That being said I would think 4% would definitely be the margin between win and lose, The Democrats may have to come up with a tactic other than trashing her character and questioning her patriotism. They may want to start playing nice. But it may be too late. I would LOVE to see her on a debate stage with the Republican Trump and the Democrat Hillary. That alone might get her over 10%.

Yeah razor thin margins all around. I don't think she will get to debate.

Completely disagree. What policy position does she hold that isn’t liberal?

The modern Dem party is Leftist. Not liberal.
It’s a matter of semantics, I suppose. I think her policy positions line up nicely with moderate libertarians.

Nothing personal Dan, but that shit is straight out of la-la-land; "playing nice"?? :D

When I was a teenager that was called “liberal”.

I’m just sayin. I don’t like allowing them to constantly change definitions of words. It’s a very Orwellian trend they’ve jumped on.

You can bet the farm that both the Republican Party and the Democrat Party would move heaven and earth to keep her out.

Did you stop reading there? Did you not see where I said it may be too late for that? The thing about Tulsi is she can’t be bought. The Democrats learned that in 2016, and they have trashed her since. She doesn't say it publicly but you can see in her eyes they have pissed her off. There’s no getting her on the plantation, and they know it. But if she runs 3rd party she could be the difference between win and lose. They’ll have a real dilemma on their hands as to how to handle things. I bet there are people assigned right now to plan on how to diminish her.

I don’t know who you’re referring to when you use the word “them.” But there is a history of “leftist” libertarianism, and Tulsi falls square in that category.

Yep and it will be much easier than moving heaven and earth for sure.

Probably, but maybe not. If she has Joe Rogan, Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taubbi, Aaron Mate, Jimmy Dore, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders and others raising an unrelenting insistence to have her included it might sway things her way. Probably not, but weirder things have happened.
