If you could ask any question tonight at the debate, what would it be...the question just needs to be answerable.

Mine: (actually kind of a 2 part question) Do you believe in Heaven? If so, how do you get there?

It's a faith based question...but since so much is made of courting the "religious right" let em answer.

What a terrible question, and has nothing to do with how a person could lead.

If I were asking dem questions, I would repeatedly demand an answer of how to pay for all this free shit. I would shut the debate down until they answered.

Interesting response from a doctor this AM on TV. When asked to discuss Sanders' Free Health Care as a right for every citizen, his response was: Does a person have a right to be treated for a heart attack? Federal law already mandates that anyone who is having a serious medical issue like a heart attack must be treated regardless of ability to pay or being insured. Federal law does not mandate that a person with a common cold have access to medical care. (paraphrased)

What Sanders is advocating is that every malady a person encounters regardless of severity has to be treated for free and is a right. That is idiocy of the highest order and financially unsustainable.

Give me a candidate who advocates a right to unfettered access to legal protection and he/she gets my vote. One can be just as severely harmed from inability to access competent legal representation as medical care.

The only religious question that matters to ME for a candidate is if they promise to protect my 1st amendment rights. I'd actually rank their opinion of boxers or briefs above their views on heaven.

Good question I think - uncomfortable for some I am sure, but still it gets into the heart of who someone is. A reasoned atheist, an agnostic, a devout believer - would be relevant to know. What I would hope you would find is who owns their beliefs and who is posing.
