How McDonald's is responding to minimum wage hikes

Someone has to pay, and it won't be the businesses; it's called innovation/progress. The "free ride" crowd will completely miss the point.
 
Luddites. That thing is powered by one hell of a system. Brad Jaehn is a visionary (not just because he is our customer - ok maybe because he is).

I suppose you don't like robots building cars either?

Or maybe you wish you could still use an operator to connect your phone calls.

Digital innovation is not tied to costs as much as it is customer experience. A global coffee company sees it in the data - API derived checks are larger and generally have higher customer sat scores than person to person.

Mostly true. Automation improves accuracy and consistency which is definitely key in the service industry, but robots also don't call in sick or ask for wage increases beyond their worth.
