Hodge Trophy Standings

Is Bo intentionally leaving out that the Hodge takes sportsmanship into consideration? And that perhaps Carter’s “pissing on grave” tweets might have dinged him in that category? If the dude is into golden showers more power to him, but tweeting that out might hurt you in the sportsmanship category.
It went to the most dominant wrestler this season - nobody can argue that. He was also the most dominant wrestler in the tournament and did not get the OW.

I do not fault Bo for advocating for his buddy. I would do the same thing in his position and probably make a similar argument. But it is a bad argument. If you are just going to give it to the "best wrestler" without regard to any criteria, it should have gone to Gable.

My understanding is that the fan vote is worth 5 votes. He won by 4 votes. So if that is correct, the fan vote made the difference.
I am saying that is not correct. In 2023 they said there were 64 total votes, including the 5 fan votes. This year the votes add up to 59. And in the article they say Hendrickson also won the fan vote.

So between the sum coming up 5 short of the 2023 total, that explicitly said it included the fan vote, and the use of the word also, I think think the totals announced this year (and last by the way) are just the committee totals.

If so, Hendrickson ultimately won by 9 "votes".
