He has not proposed that. His plan is to stop the flow into the country (via eliminating chain migration and visa lottery and a wall) in return he will push for citizenship to double the number of “dreamers” than even Hillary did. He’s also one of just a few Rs that has gone so far as to recommend citizenship. Most have stopped at legal status.

Do you know how dumb the claim the above policy proposal sounds like ethnic cleansing is? The only illegals that are being rounded up are those that are committing crimes in this country. I’m sure a few will get caught up in raids as well, but they ARE here illegally. They are not being targeted though.

Every person in this country illegally has committed a crime. So everyone detained by ICE by definition is a criminal. To me they are being generous just to limit it to people who have committed additional crimes.

Why should adults, just because they are related to someone, be allowed to immigrate to the USA? Why shouldn't they have to go through the same legal process as anyone else?

Chain migration for anyone except immediate family is stupid and so is having a visa lottery.
