Nuts! Wonder where this glacier was when the Viking drove their SUV’s across the Atlantic to Greenland and Nova Scotia, to farm?

There used to be ice covering large parts of the northern USA. Ice formed many of the geographical parts of our country including the Great Lakes. Was it buffalo farts or Indians burning wood for warmth that caused the ice to melt?
