yes. Incredible, maybe not for guys like us - but for a man of Flynn's professional experience - incredible is an incredibly mild adjective for the level of oversight that would be.
I think you are giving him far too much credit. Maybe he thought the FBI didn't have access to those transcripts?

I'll try again. In what war did Flynn fight and how did he achieve "hero" status. Hint, Flynn never participated in combat, thus in no way is a "war hero." He has a fairly impressive military resume, but that does NOT make him a war hero.

You are right I haven't been presented with the proof that he lied, but the judge has.
Ah yes... the famous rebuke by the judge who also strongly urged him to reconsider his plea and extended his sentencing hearing to continue cooperating with prosecutors - with whom he had already reached a plea deal. I wonder if there are other ways to read his rebuke other than to conclude that the judge was so convinced of his guilt that he should possibly be facing treason charges. Could he have been referring to the Turkey issue? Could he have been calling Flynn out and threatening to revoke his deal if he didn't consider fighting the lying to the FBI stuff - because it was worth fighting?
I don't know and neither do you. And frankly, neither do any resident lawyers who sometimes weigh in on this. Any layman can see this is a pretty unique situation and not as cut and dried as the incurious would like it to be.
I guess one question we could wrestle with is this.... why would Flynn lie about a completely appropriate conversation with Kislyiac - particularly when he - as a national security advisor (lets be honest here) knew he was likely being transcribed during the call?
Obama's state department specifically said there was no issue with it and offered their assistance in doing so in this video.
So again, I ask - did he lie? Why would he lie? Why would he think he wasn't being transcribed? Is there ever a reason for a man to take a plea deal who did not commit a crime? What might those reasons be?
No the judge called out Flynn for trying to maintain his innocence while pleading guilty. When Flynn reaffirmed his guilt the judge accepted the plea.
I know the judge didn't threaten to revoke his deal if he didn't consider fighting the lying to the FBI stuff.
Because he thought the FBI was on his side.
Yeah why would he tell these lies:
FLYNN falsely stated that he did not ask Russia's Ambassador to the United States ("Russian Ambassador") to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia.
FLYNN also falsely stated that he did not remember a follow-up conversation in which the Russian Ambassador stated that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of FL YNN's request.
FLYNN made additional false statements about calls he made to Russia and several other countries regarding a resolution submitted by Egypt to the United Nations Security Council on December 21, 2016.
FLYNN falsely stated that he only asked the countries' positions on the vote, and that he did not request that any of the countries take any particular action on the resolution.
FLYNN also falsely stated that the Russian Ambassador never described to him Russia's response to FL YNN's request regarding the resolution.
Also Flynn had already lied to Pence about the issue so maybe he was trying to save his job?
This in no way is at odds with what I said. If you are innocent, fight it and don't take the plea because I might not honor the plea deal if you do - is exactly what I postulated. Fight it if you are innocent, don't be a hypocrite if you are guilty. You didn't answer why a man might take such a deal even if he were innocent though. That happens sometimes for a variety of reasons.
Sorry, but you know jack shit as regards what was in the judge's mind when he made that statement.
If that were true, he would be extraordinarily stupid. Having been on the outs with the Obama administration, why would he think Obama's DOJ / FBI would be on his "side"? That doesn't pass the sniff test.
FLYNN Sounds like a real bad guy. What's your SOURCE for all that? Have you compared that to the transcript of his phone call or the FBI 302's from his interrogation?
It is at odds with the theory that the judge thought he might be innocent. The judge saw the evidence and had no qualms about accepting a guilty plea that was an actual admission of guilt.
Of course I didn't answer that, because it is up to you to make that assertion if you think Flynn was framed.
The judge was actually pretty clear so its not really even a matter of guessing.

Because the FBI are actually all Obama democrats fever dream hadn't been fleshed out in January of 2017. Remember the role the FBI played in the 2016 election.
"As the interviewing agents noted, the defendant was “relaxed and jocular” during their interactions with him." sounds like some one getting grilled by an adversarial deep state to me.
Flynn's indictment. I have compared it to the 302's. Again obviously I can't compare it to the transcripts, but the judge has.
Whats your case for Flynn being framed besides, "He must have been framed because my impression of him is that is too smart to lie to the FBI?"
