I second Charley's!Cappriotti's out on the west coast is the best sandwich chain I've had. With my job I know a lot about this business. Firehouse is fine. They use quality stuff.
Charley's is legit also. I'll put it this way, I wont ever eat at a Jersey Mike's again.
Edit to add. D'Angelo's in the New England area is great also.
West = Cappriotti's
East = D'Angelos
Midwest = Charley's

They have around 700 stores. They are all QSR's in food courts and airports. They use quality stuff.The only one close to me is in the Collin Creek Mall food court in Plano which kinda makes me suspicious but I'll reserve judgement until I sample this supposed hidden treasure.
At least it isn't the Cleveland Steamer...Get the Brooklyn Steamer at Firehouse. You're welcome.
Speaking of Cleveland. Avoid Mr. Hero sandwich shops.At least it isn't the Cleveland Steamer...
That's one of the bigger ones I don't know anything about.Tater what about Jimmy Johns? Safe or not? I hate just about every other sub chain. I will have to try the one you suggested.
We're on our front porch in midtown Tulsa a few years back and see a Jimmy Johns car drive by and pull into a house across the street, 2 houses down. I turn to the wife and say, Jimmy Johns delivers? She said, well I guess so.
So I pick up the phone and proceed to order a couple saniches' to be delivered. Give them the address and they say, we don't deliver there. I then tell them I'm looking at a Jimmy Johns car across the street. She asked the address for that house, I gave it, and she said, yeah, we deliver there.
Any chance you could expand your boundary another 30 feet and bring me my saniches'?Sorry, we can't do that.
Haven't given them a dime since.
That explains itDLE aka David Einstein is involved with the marketing/development of Jimmy John's in Tulsa.

Yeah, it's all funny until you get ready for an Italian with salt & vinegar chips only to have it mentally taken from you at the last minute. Not funny once you cross that anticipated taste bud threshold. It's worse than a fork in the eye.That's fing hilarious

This is the best part, in my negotiations I asked if they could just deliver to the house across the street and I'd just be standing in the driveway.If it's that bad Have them sprinkle of dash of your pride on top and walk the 30 feet? Heh
You are welcome.Charley's is the best philly cheese steak I have ever had. By far. You will love it.
Which Wich is our favorite. I wish they weren't so damn expensive though.I like Which Wich. Firehouse is good. Never had Charley's sandwiches. Used to be a big fan of their chips and cookies.

With or without cheese whiz?I can appreciate this comment, but having lived in Philly for 2 years, you've obviously never had one from Tony Luke's.
The 2 big name places there are good, but the locals know where to go and they all pointed me towards TLs.
