You don’t understand, you’ve never understood. David doesn’t believe those lies, he knows they’re lies. But they serve the useful purpose to keep the public distracted from his team’s main goal (total power), and his team’s political opponent always on the defensive, and thus it never has time or resources for anything else. David’s role on this message board to is keep you riled up, the purpose of the distraction. Where David makes his mistake is he thinks once the revolution is complete he will be rewarded for his loyalty with a place on the high command, ruling over the rest of us, when the fact is he’s nothing but a tool being used by his betters to bring them total control. At best they’ll turn his McMansion into a boarding house and let him be in charge of the ragtag homeless they move in with him. Think Dr. Zhiavago when he returned home from the war. David will be the comrade that greeted Yuri as he walked in the front door. David thinks he’s so smart, but he’s walking face first into a trap he’s helping to create for himself.
