You might want to look up how much in intellectual property theft China commits each year, the amount is shocking. Then look at how many billions are sent back home by illegals not to mention the amount of money the Cartels are making from human trafficking and their drug trade, all of which is detrimental to the US. Sometimes the mere threat of implementation is enough, sometimes it takes the countries feeling the pain of the tariffs and sometimes they do not work which require further action. When diplomacy is not enough, as they obviously haven't been, tariffs are the next step to encourage cooperation. Again all common sense.

You should have stopped with your first sentence: you have no idea (what you are talking about). All you know is you have limitless faith that DJT/MAGA are your earthly saviors, and if DJT can protect you from your perceived enemies you’re happy to make him our ruler.
