The exact number of Executive Orders DJT has issued since January 20? What’s the record? Whatever the number is does it concern you that we needed that many dictates from a president, leaving the rest of our elected government representatives out of the decision making process? If you’re happy with the way Trump is handling his presidency will you be equally happy when the next Democrat president handles his presidency the same way?

I found one place, the Federal Register, that says he’s issued 103 EO’s since Jan 20. 103 in roughly 60 days. Almost two per day. Yep! That’s democracy in action!

The question is: will you defend the next Democrat president that issues 104 EO's in the same time frame, undoing most of what Trump's EO's have done? Will you defend it as an example of a representative republic? Will you defend the Democrat by saying he's merely following the law? And on a side note: are you comfortable with any individual holding the office of president having the authority to issue orders without need to carry them through the democratic process?

I understand your logic, you are a citizen of a state and the state is the important factor in the equation. The state is what is real and it is the obligation of the individual to do what the state tells them needs to be done. What the individual thinks about the state is immaterial because the existence and continuance of the state is all that matters. Unfortunately in the US, whether we like it or not, we have a two party system. You either vote for or against one of the party's candidates. Voting third party is the same as not voting.
