Oh I wish we could be America again at this moment when it did not matter what political party you embraced. It was just one minute on a piece of ice. February 22, 1980. Watch the video, listen to the crowd in Lake Placid screaming, cheering, waving flags as a group of young men from across our country came together to win the Miracle On Ice. No extreme professional contracts, no huge NIL deals, just young men playing the game and representing the country they loved.

One of the best and most influential historical sports moments ever. It's personally my favorite.

I was in a bar called the Attic on the strip in Stillwater and was a student and watched the replay. We did not know who won so it was like watching it live as the game occurred earlier in the day. The whole bar was rocking!!!! So fun to watch sports history and to know America was back! Inflation was high, the economy was bad, and America just needed a shot of confidence and this provided it.
