Holy crap he moved it and then this thread moved itself back. Bluegrass has the power!!!

Nah, it's just a placeholder for one day. If you click on it, you're actually in 24/7 Pol.

My 6 year old daughter is currently building a light saber at DisneyWorld. The force is with me but according to hoops I am a poor.
Is Disney worth the money? Thinking of taking my little one this fall. They quoted me a price of $3400 for 3 days/4 nights. Everything included (even airfare). I hate the politics of Disney put want my daughter to see it.

Disney is well worth it. Folks travel from all over the world to see it. I doubt they think highly of America, but they set politics aside for a while. "It's a small world, after all."

Hoops can't even keep up with his made up life. No wonder he's so interested in yours. I guess that's what happens when you take too many line drives off the noggin from your middle school softball team.

We have season passes and we live in NYC. My daughter is a soph at OSU and is doing the Disney College Plan. Yes, she is a Hotel Rest major. My 2 suggestions for staying is are the French Quarter/French Quarter on the grounds or the Doubletree next to DisneySprings. Your first trip should be on the grounds. It is worth the money. Consider driving if you want to save money. Ask away if you have more questions.

What are the primary differences between Disney Land in Cali vs Disney World in Fla.

Does $3400 for what I said sound about right? 1 adult & 1 child, my daughter is 10 yr old. BTW, no way I'm driving from OK to Florida! Not that darn tight. Like I said that was for air, staying at some type of Disney jungle (supposedly high end)for 4 nights, entrance to 3 parks & all meals. Plus they come get us at airport. We've seen about all Branson has to offer.

U
No you are just as stupid as your brother Cary.

We are going in March. 2 adults and two children for 6 days and five nights at All Star sports resort with Disney dining plan. We are driving and it is costing us just over $3000. We went cheap on the hotel because we figure we are just going to be there to sleep and shower.

That is a good deal. Make sure to get your dining reservations now. O'Hana is a must at the Polynesian. Whispering Canyon at the The Wilderness Lodge is great. The South Africa place at Animal Kingdom is great. Le Cellier in Epcot. Book those places with the mean plan. Now.

Animal Kingdom is where they had me, Wilderness lodge may interest my kiddo more though.

Animal kingdom is good. They have the animals come right up to the hotel. I stayed at Wilderness in May. It is secluded and they are doing a huge Reno. Stay at Animal kingdom and eat one meal in your hotel at the African place. Great food.

That price sucks. Wife and I went for 6days/5nights, airfare, stayed at coronado springs (our favorite really), meal plan for us both, park hopper for 5 days...all toll about $4000

Go online and look for tips and tricks. There is some trick that if you bought a day pass for some other park you get an early entry to another park if you have a day pass for that park, too? I don't know, my wife was all over it.

Also, master the skill of the 'Fast Pass.' It really is an art in-and-of itself. Something along the lines of you get 3 pre-plan early rides a day and you want to make them super early into what the crud ever because once you use those three pre-planned you can constantly go to a kiosk and get new ones for right now on whatever you want. Worked amazing for us.

There are one or two nights that the Magic Kingdom is open until 1am or so. You can usually mash a whole bunch of Fast Pass rides into that time. See whatever parade they are having and make sure you see whatever laser show of the month is going on ON the castle. The castle actually comes to life, pretty cool.

If you have girls do the princess lunch at Epcot. Do the Ohana breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Amazing food and they come to your table and let you get pics. Same for princess lunch. Each of my kids brought a cardboard picture frame and had all the toons sign in different color markers on that and put their fave pic from the trip in it. The only toons you will likely have to wait in huge lines for is Elsa/Anna. Many of the rest you can just check the schedule and stumble across them. I do think we waited forever in Epcot to see the whole Mickey/Minnie/Goofy/Pluto/Donald gang. Plan all that out in times so you know exactly where you need to be and when.

Be aware of whatever hotel you have and their shuttle service or parking pass or whatnot. Don't let the driving and parking dork you out of time.

There are sites you can google that will give you all the low-down on the scheduling secrets and luncheon secrets and Fast Pass secrets. It was an art of its own and my wife had it down to NASA timing.

Coronado Springs and Animal Kingdom or 2 totally different price points a night.

We stayed at Art of Animation; its considered one of the 'value' resorts.

We also went to a Mickey's hoe down BBQ; it was good fun and lots of food.

I know, but just giving you perspective on our trip. We like animal kingdom Lodge too..just for whatever reason she like Coronado better..which was fine by me

Thinking seriously about becoming a freelance message board consultant. I'll take the extra money I earn by connecting people to a board, then showing them how to dominate it, and set up my Disney fund.

Should I create a Twitter handle?

Back to the Disney stuff.... If you have AAA calm the travel office if you are driving.... You can park right up front the is a special parking area for AAA members usually right next to handicapped parking.
