Congratulations to Alex! Lots of stiff competition this year with Retherford, Garrett, and Snyder. Not sure that I agreed with the OW at the NCAA's. Snyder would have been my fourth place choice.

Congrats to him. I was worried they'd give it to Snyder. Nothing against Snyder, but I didn't think it should go to someone who basically only wrestled in the postseason. Being elite day in and day out over the course of months is implied for this award and I think it should stay that way.
