She seems like the weakest nominee of Trump's in my opinion.
If I'm a Dem, am I careful about what I wish for? If DeVos is dropped, do you think Trump's next appointment will be any less "pro-school choice/vouchers".

As one who doesn't cheer against America I hope she doesn't fail and some how improves the education system. I prayed almost every day that Obama would be successful. See that is the difference between a true American and some enjoying the benefits of being American. I cheer for America not a party.

No one is settling here... or at least i'm not. I personally thought she was the least impressive of Trump's nominees. But, she's now confirmed. So... i hope she does a good job for however long she is in there.

Terrible choice. Really surprised that there were not more than 2 republican senators who had the balls (yes, I know the 2 were female) to go against the grain and vote against her.
Oh well, my daughter is a senior and my son only has 2 years of high school left. Maybe her changes won't eff things up for him too badly.

For the record I am not for this lady. It is what it is and I am just going to hope and pray that she does the best job she possibly can. I never want to see our leaders fail because then America is failing.
Our education system has been troubled for years, particularly in urban and rural areas where hypocritical liberal whites have left them begging for scraps for years.
Hey as long as we can build and invest millions in buildings, supplies, and materials to weight the scales in our kid's favor, who cares?
