Carly Endroses Cruz

About time everyone comes around.... Now if those two donks would drop out Cruz could coast to victory!!

I'm afraid the nomination has already been delivered to Trump on a silver platter. It's possible Kasich wins Ohio, but I think Rubio is done in Florida and they'll just split 65% of the vote 3 ways. The R's really messed it up for themselves.

I think Kasich probably will win Ohio. Trump will win Florida. Florida is winner take all (so is OH).

I don't understand why California and Illinois are winner take all states. Massive delegates at stake for states that will be blue in November. Why do they have such a large roll in selecting a nominee that they can't carry in the general election?

The explanation I have heard for giving these states winner take all status was to encourage them NOT to move up the date of their primaries to try to be before IA and NH.

Try to blame the RINO's all you want, this is outright GOP policy failure in general. The tea party movement did not help (see kansas and to a lesser degree, louisiana as examples of over the top examples). GOP needs to run far and fast from social issues, and get back to the fiscal conservatism. Problem is, the GOP powers that be go full press in the opposite direction on both platforms.

I still like kasich, but i do not think he keeps ohio. Just a hunch. Trump just hit a shocking homerun.

That's a recipe for disaster.

The best route to take and not betray your social issue core voters is to take the approach that Cruz has -- when asked on one of the red-hot liberal sugar-stick social issues (that remain divisive in this nation) he has said, "That's an issue that I believe should be decided by individual states.)

Smart move and a strict Constitutionalist answer.

I should be a political adviser. This is too easy.

The bigger problem is that the past two GOP presidential candidates refused to take the fight to Obama and the democrats. McCain didn't want to confront Obama on anything and Romney went into his version of the "prevent defense" after the second debate. To compound this, the GOP leadership in both the House and Senate are frightened of their own shadows and have given into Obama on everything. The most recent example is Paul Ryan totally capitulating on the Omnibus Budget Bill.

Cruz to possibly get Chuck Norris's endorsement...... Watch out Trump

Probably a bit premature, but could we be seeing a move to a multiparty system on the national level, or will the 2 major parties regroup and reset for next election cycle?

There's no doubt a huge divide on the GOP right now with 70% of primary vote going to non establishment candidates. On the dem side a socialist is pulling huge crowds and winning state primaries having collected 40% of the primary vote....

The politicians love a 2 party system.

I would think a strong multi party system would would strengthen the HOR as they would essentially elect the president every 4 years. It would put a state like Oklahoma on equal footing with states like Texas and California in electing a president. It would change the dynamics of national and local politics in a major way.

What we have now has ceased to work properly, that's for sure. But, there is are complications under a system with > 2 parties too.

I assume you are meaning the situation where a whacko that has just over 1/3 of the population behind him and he or she ends up being the president.

We are going to end up with a whacko anyway, even with the 2 party system.
