You know, if it had been a one-off occurance, then he could chalk it up as simply being mispoken in a retelling. But 3 separate statements regarding his "involvement" makes this more than just a poor choice of wording.

Lyin' Brian's stories from Hurricane Katrina are now being called into question. Said he looked out of his hotel room in the French Quarter and saw a body floating by face down in the water. The problem with this claim is the French Quarter didn't flood.

Of course, lying from the NBC news division is not a recent phenomenon.
