Humans can habitate/thrive in a fairly narrow climate band. The argument about human causation is stupid IMO. At some point climate variation may make the planet inhabitable.
Proactively dealing with said change will be monumental in scale - probably beyond our current abilities - but worthwhile to begin working on.
But alas, until I stop driving my F-150 nothing will happen. I have come to accept my role as the root cause of the ultimate doom of our species.
