Big anniversary on Thursday

All of these leftists crying about Jan 6th seem to have forgotten that one of their star mouthpieces said:

CNN's Chris Cuomo: "Please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful."

Hmmmmmm...

Edit: There's plenty more where that came from, including elected officials.

I personally will ring in the anniversary with a rowdy cheer. I love the thought of overconfident politicians who think they can ram anything they want down peoples’ throats quaking in fear and hiding under their desks praying to God they don’t soil their pants as citizens rampage all around them. The only thing that would have made it better is if some of them had been tarred snd feathered! Long live Sam Adams, the father of the original American Revolution!!!
I meant to come back to this earlier. Knowing you like I do, I expect nothing less! I appreciate the sentiment, I just hate to see people get hurt. Are we still friends?

to quote from a movie… People should not be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of the people
The people spoke and trump lost but Republicans LiTeRaL LeE suck worse at #losing than even democrats, hence an all-day conservative circle jerk-turned-violent, directly instigated by Trump himself.

I’m lying about all of this tho, right???

@Syskatine

I became curious about Captain Zip Tie. I found the probable cause affidavit for his arrest online (real name Eric Munchel). When I read the affidavit, there were several pictures of this guy outside the Capitol. No zip ties/flex cuffs were visible. Then once inside, suddenly he’s carrying these plastic restraints.

I found an article from a Nashville TV news website. Check his out: https://www.newschannel5.com/news/n...ip-tie-guy-and-his-mother-appeals-court-rules

A federal judge is quoted as saying this idiot picked these restraints up inside the Capitol building. The dude stole them from the cops’ stash inside. Crazy.

Kamala: You remember where you were on December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001 and January 6, 2021.

Personally, I see the Capitol riot as an embarrassment. It didn’t drag us into a world war that resulted in millions of deaths. It didn’t kill thousands of people as airplanes crashed. It’s this drama queen equalization of these three events that makes me laugh.

Extreme hyperbole is effective on stupid people. The Democrats use fear as their primary persuasion tool because their policies are trash.

Hypothetically, what would it be called if rioters attacked the White House, injured a bunch of Secret Service members, set fires outside of it, and Joe Biden had to be taken to an underground bunker for safety?
Insurrection? Attack on democracy?
Or would the media downplay it, blame Biden for the riots, and mock him for going to the bunker. You know...like they did to Trump? https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/01/tru...0ujCsz-lGLhvb_N0aBg0aLmaaam-ixI9EiabecSbEB9DM

“some of them throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades.”

You think that’s what happened on January 6th? Unfortunately, it was A LOT more than just that….and you know it.

Good article. The appelate judge is destroying the lower court judge's case.

It also states that the person owned multiple firearms, none of which he brought to the capital that day. No violence committed, and he is supposed to be an insurrectionist? I think an insurrectionist would bring their guns with them.

Stairs are for pussies, bro.

Right? Nobody storms a capital by... walking. Gotta have some drama.

What's the temperature up there? It's a gd cold snap right now and my "new" house has geothermal heating, which is really awesome if you live in San Diego.

The stairs were probably blocked by the Grandma Brigade, who had no idea at the time how famous they were about to become.

Probably around 35 right now, but it’s snowing again. The drought we have recently had seems to be turning around. Close to 2 feet of snow the last two weeks.

It's good that criminal behavior is being addressed in this case. It's refreshing to see mobs of people getting prosecuted for their crimes.

Weird thing though, I don't recall a single whimper out of the board's truck stop lot lizard about all of the riots taking place in the country in 2020 while Democrats like your idiot vice president and their supporters raised money to bail the rioters out of jail to return to rioting. Kinda like that whole draft dodging thing you screeched about until you didn't. Chuckle.
You should really get that looked at - RPD is no joke.

OK, first off, having a flash bang go off right next to you is not a life threatening situation. I know because it’s happened to me. So take that one off the list.

Second, somebody stabs me with a metal fence stake, they need to be shot, either by me or one of my buddies. Period. Stun gun in a riotous situation? Same. Blast them. This isn’t a hard decision. Then watch the crowd scatter. Seriously. While a stun gun isn’t a lethal weapon, I can justify use of deadly force in my mind. And if I have to convince a jury later, so be it.

Got 73 more examples? I still find it hard to believe the cops didn’t open fire. What were they thinking?
What is your POV on Ashli Babbitt?

No kidding. The Trump faithful/MAGA people are so stupid and incompetent they can’t even get an insurrection right.
I mean, think about it. The MAGA’s are the most vocal supporters of the 2nd Amendment, so you have to know each and every one of them must have a truck load of guns stashed in every nook and cranny around. And yet it didn’t dawn on a single one of those buffoons to bring one lousy gun to their pre-planned overthrow of the government. What dunces those Trump supporters are!

The world generally misunderstands police use of force. The officer does not have to wait to be fired upon or trampled or whatever in order to use deadly force to defend himself. The officer must reasonably believe his life is threatened or he is in danger of serious bodily injury.

I wasn’t in that officer’s shoes. What was he hearing? Threats? Was there a fallback position available? How close was his backup? If he was all alone, did he call for help? Did he tell the mob he was going to open fire? I have unanswered questions about this.

But as far as tactics go, it looked to me like he was in position of cover in a doorway near the doors that held back the mob (if I recall correctly). Might have been easier to retreat into that room with a much smaller doorway and if mob members start to enter this doorway, I think I can reasonably assume they mean to do me harm. And by my retreat, I have created a funnel that I can shoot them one at a time as they try to enter. Either I’m running out of ammo or the doorway is blocked by dead or injured rioters. But I also recognize that I’m not in the heat of the moment. People react differently under stress than they do in their recliner at home as I am now.

I don’t care for his “I’m a hero” attitude, that’s for sure.
