Biff really is running the government like one of his businesses!

Oh, of course. Anything but the obvious.

I'm old enough to remember the predictions of what the CRA would cause. I also remember how Democrats refused to listen. Fact is the predictions proved true at a tremendous cost to millions of people. Then along comes the next Democrat administration and low and behold we have the same discussion with Obamacare. Now even Democrats admit Obamacare is a disaster. Seems to be a pattern there.

Obama left with black America worse than when he found it.
Not remotely true

Under President Obama, black America poverty went up
Black poverty rate in 2010: 27.4. Black poverty rate in 2017: 21.2

Obama is our only president to never oversee an annual 3 percent GDP growth rate. Over regulation in the style of Robert Mugabe.
On 4 occasions YOY growth exceeded 3% under Obama

What has the GOP done to make it more affordable?

Unfortunately it takes more than just the GOP to create meaningful legislation that benefits the country as a whole. We saw what happens with Obamacare when one party shoves something up our backsides.

Anything? Just blame the dems?

Sure wish me and the brothers could have noticed. You're telling us we stayed away from the polls or voted Trump because we were doing so well and didn't have the presence of mind to notice? I'll clue the brothers in Monday when I visit 11th Street. I'll bet they'll be shocked at our stupidity.

Believe it or not there exist other black people in America besides you and the brothers on 11th street.

If the data is wrong please do tell. I can tell you had those statements pretty well sourced.

I know you can find find the 3 departments I sited? The Census Bureau keeps us up to date on our population's status by race. Commerce does commerce. FBI does crime by race. They'll keep you clued in just as they do me. Check them out.
Yeah man where do you think the graphs and numbers I cited come from? Maybe you should double check

Or better yet just fill in the blanks:

Black unemployment rate was ____ on Jan 20th 2009
Black unemployment rate was ____ on Jan 20th 2017

Black poverty rate was _____ in 2009
Black poverty rate was _____ in 2017

Real GDP in Q1 2015 was _____ higher than in Q1 2014

@Sunburnt Indian I'm looking forward to you following up on this. Seems like there's some discrepancies regarding the facts here.

I know where your graphs and numbers come from.

I've been away for a bit looking. The U. S. Census Bureau tells me black American poverty was 27 percent in 2014. Statista tells me black American poverty was 23 percent in 2014. I'm finding numbers all over the place. You're citing employment numbers. I'm talking poverty and home ownership.

I'm very close to the black community as you might guess. Obama was a disappointment. Blacks enthusiastically showed and voted the first time around. Drop off came the second time. Some Chicago organizers said no improvement don't expect us a third time and they kept their word.

Obama gave us BLEXIT.

I've only read from a myriad of sources no annual 3 percent annual growth rate for Obama. I thought that was common knowledge.

I have to go gas my wife's Jeep now. I''ll check back later.

No one is asking about 2014. And statista sounds pretty unofficial. Just back up your claims a little bit here.

Alright. I think he was too conservative economically and we need to overhaul some things too, but my breakdown comes when these conservatives criticize someone for not helping blacks enough. What have they done in the last 50 years? Besides fight affirmative action, integration, and every other assistance ever provided to help reverse 200 years of enforced illiteracy and non-family ties. AND IT WORKED. They fought it every step of the way. Its a totally different world than when I was a kid. Its a long way from perfect but these awful, shitty lbj policies 50 years later have greatly changed this society for the better. These people dont remember what the poverty in rural black areas used to look like. Now we drink, do business, live around each other, the kids date, its all different. That takes a gd POTUS to change a country like that.

I hope you stick around. I appreciate a thoughtful perspective that actually engages.

Trump made that point.
