just thought I'd throw this out there since we didn't really get to converse during the game last night. I don't think I would use Davis again unless we have a 10 run lead in the 9th. And then, I'd really think about it. He almost gave up the game last night in the 9th with a 5 run lead. A bases loaded fly ball to right field probably 5 feet from going over the fence was way too close. I was shocked that Schubart was able to corral it up against the wall. I know it was an error that cost us the game against baylor, but those base runners were Davis' responsibility. He just gives up too many hits and Walton about blew it again last night. Other than that, great game by Bodendorf and Ure looked ok for his 1 inning. ASU has 2 good starters and we will see the other one tonight. We scored all our runs against their starter last night and their relievers pretty much shut us down (zero hits against them). Their starter tonight is a RHP, about the same stats as the one last night. Hopefully they get this fixed before that game!!
