When Eddie came to OSU, I was living in Dallas, there was no internet, and it was barely news down there. Then I moved to Austin in 1992, and didn't make it back to Oklahoma until the summer of 1994. By then, OSU basketball was a very big deal, on its way to the Final Four. And I feel like I missed out on a large part of the second-most important era in the history of the University.
So my question is, for you guys (and gals) who were there at the very first, the 1990-91 season, up through the Seattle Final Four - what was that like for you? What were the thoughts when Eddie was named head coach, and when lots of wins started piling up, and it became impossible to get tickets to games?
My other question is, do you think Eddie will get into the Hall of Fame before he dies?
