Dan, I have voted in the past both Democratic and Republican. Went from registered Democrat to Republican.

In the past, it was just a political affiliation and you voted for the best candidate. Politics has been dirty for a long time, but today it really is not about party affiliation, MSM and those drunk on its lies is turning this in to picking a religion, or even something more serious. What is worse, the dirty politics is one of identity politics and destroy.

Regardless of being registered as a Rep or Dem, I always thought of myself as independent in thought. I checked out of watching MSM about 14 years ago and only started watching again for the last Prez debates, I thought MSM was bad - it was 12 years ago at that time, but it blew my mind what I was watching. MSM has destroyed this country.

We get served up mostly POS candidates, on both sides. I would have thrown out every Dem and Rep candidate in 2016 if it was up to me.

Right now, the search and destroy is coming from the Dems is appalling. We need a good Dem party and MSM, but they just get worse. My god the hate....

The last election was about voting for a career Politician that lies thru her teeth for votes and everything about her that was negative, was glossed over by MSM, FBI, and the DOJ....I would have loved to have seen Hillary properly vetted and investigated, even if it proved my suspicions wrong. She reeked of entitlement, self legacy building, power building, and influence for sale. So full of lies and BS.

Trump? I figured he was a rich guy that grew up in the tough as nails world of the NYC real estate world that would cuss, call a spade a spade, and embellish like a drunk teenager bragging about the first time he got laid. I also figured he screwed more women than the owner of a Vegas bunny ranch and his wives knew before they married he would have a mistress or another women he wanted.

I also knew Trump would appoint better judges, remove stupid obstacles killing the economy, secure our borders, build our military, and not apologize for being an American and being successful. I knew he would try to fix healthcare, unbelievable RINO’s and McCain betrayed him.

I was also tired of the demonization of white American males, working in a Fortune 500 company we regularly and purposely hired and promoted minorities, particularly African Americans over much more qualified non-minority applicants. I was phucking sick and tired of being labeled a racist when I feel my generation was the most legally discriminated against generation when it came to entrance in to Universities and job applications and promotions. All to be betrayed by a segment of society that has no appreciation for those of us that bought in to helping minorities that now appears it wants to punish a large portion of society that does not have one racist bone in its body or committed one racist act, and wants to categorize it seems every white male as racist, new code word is white nationalist, these are people that pass legalized discrimination and carried it out against their own race and did it in the name of good.

Do they not realize the hate they are selling? And we have white males brainwashed by MSM to have white guilt? Am I to be guilty over denying more qualified white’s opportunities? Trump was not going to aim at a segment of the population that did not deserve it like Obama and Hillary did and would, treating people equally in this country is now racist. I could give a phuck on perception. I will never again hire a lesser qualified candidate, started that practice once I left the Fortune 500 world. I will never discriminate again like that, wrong is wrong, I can see that now.

The last election was not about Dem or Rep for me, it was about voting for the things I mentioned
above, knowing Trump would be a bull in a china shop, which again I could careless. Nick Saban is an asshole to work for and treats the press like shit,
but he wins.

So, Republicans smiling? More like Trump voters.
Trump is really an old school Democrat IMO, he has no problem running a budget deficit and spending, the tax cuts have more than paid for themselves due to an effective tax rate that now has a bigger economy to tax from.

Yup, the more Dems talk the more I want to vote for Trump, no doubt about it. The fact the Dems double down with candidates in a rush to out due each other with stupid ideas, and massive taxes for free shit for everyone is just mind blowing.

They did not learn after the last election. If we do get Infanticide, stupid green deals, reparations, 90% Corp tax rates, socialized medical care and college? I will die wondering how did we phuck uo this country for my grandkids?

Unlike the threats of the Hollywood elites to move out of the country, you will have people and corporations getting out of this country.

I have enough wealth to retire out of this country if I want, I do not want to do that, and doubt I will. That said, I will if things get to the point I believe we have totally lost this country and our founding principles, our forefathers never wanted this country to be a socialist country, and I do not care to live in one. I started working in the 7th grade at a service station, threw newspapers in the 5th grade. Paid for my college education via loans. Worked many a 60 / 80 hour week to build a career.

Get off your azz and work, instead of stealing from hard working people and yelling white nationalist.

Voting for Trump is so much easier round 2, and I will be grinning from ear to ear.
