3 Iowa wrestlers suspended after arrest

There was an article in the Norman Transcript about freshmen Hawkeye wrestlers Seth Gross, Ross Lembeck and Logan Ryan. They were arrested Wednesday, March 18 in eastern Iowa after their car matched the description of one suspected to be connected to a theft in the area. Lembeck was charged with drunken driving, Gross was given a citation for open container and interference with official acts. All three were charged with possession of alcohol underage. Tom Brands says he will use the university's student code of conduct as a guide to address the matter. Gross and Ryan were expected to contend for the starting position at 141 lbs next year.

An article in an Iowa newspaper indicates that they are being investigated for involvement in a string of vehicle burglaries.

No stones being thrown by me, we have had are problems over here like every other school. I will wait until all the facts are out, sure hope they have nothing to due about burglary ( that could ruin a young man life).

I think we can all agree that it is sad to see young men jeopardize their futures over alcohol-fueled stupidity. They haven't been charged in the thefts, and I don't want to jump to conclusions, but they did have stolen property in their car.
