In words, you guys need to start praying for Nebby losses in the lower weights. They got lucky that their strength is where no one else is. PSU and OSU are strong at the same weights, which is why we wrestle three times tonight. We need to hope for lesser program to start pulling their weight.

I know this is a way early discussion but also exciting to comtemplate. As it stands, OSU is wrestling to finish second or third in team total. We finished 10th in 2024.

All the excitement when Taylor, et all took over was spot on. The coaching change influence with incoming transfers and in-house wrestlers is very apparent. A huge improvement in our program. Fun to speculate what is ahead for OSU wrestling.

Go Pokes.

I do not understand why so many people are offended so easily when a wrestler doesn't do well and someone tells the truth? As long as it's about the wrestling and not personal or cruel. Teague Travis should beat a 25th seed. Were there other factors? Yes, absolutely. But do y'all think he would see it that way? Hell no he wouldn't. Is it the end of the world? Absolutely not. These kids are WRESTLERS. Do y'all think they are weak minded snowflakes. affected by anonymous message board posters?!? Good grief.
I sincerely apologize for things I said at the height of my disappointment. My only excuse is that I’ve been a fan since 1978 and there have been quite a few “let-downs” along the way but I still love Cowboys Wrestling. Go Pokes.

Once in a OSU baseball World Series thread, I got so pissed off, I thought Donnie Walton should be benched (last I checked he was playing for the San Diego Padres) it's part of it.

Man, things come full circle. All those tough losses Sprat has taken in the last 30 seconds of matches just paid off HUGE. He was so prepared for that moment.
When they took overtime to the mat I thought we are in trouble because Ventrasca is explosive on the bottom and Spratley couldn't ride him for more than 1 second. Sure enough Ventrasca is out in a second and then Spratley gets a leg and the takedown. He4 wrestled smart in the next 30 second period and Ventrasca gave the escape but never got close to Troy's leg.

Outhorsed on last td unfortunately. Had opp when guy tried to throw earlier and couldn’t settle on top. Crap.

He just struggles against the top tier of the weight. Big strong guy and when he can’t just overpower guys he has problems.

Good wrestler but could be one who doesn’t find a spot in the lineup next year.

The same people that reviewed the Fugitt/Ayala TD, just reviewed the Mendez/Bartlett challenge and called it no TD? I don't get it. Can someone please explain!
