Its apparent to me that I don't have time to post my full thoughts on each bracket. So they are going to get shorter.

Ward gets upset by Durso! Mckenna gets upset by Jordan. Gulibon gets 2 matches in and calls it a year...loses to Manley and Thorn.

1. Heil
2. Jordan
3. McKenna
4. Ward
5. Ashnault
6. Manley
7. Meredith

Heil gets us tied back up with Penn State.

I want Heil to win bad if for no other reason than to shut everyone up that is picking against him! That said, he will have his hands full starting in the quarters. I'm sitting in my hotel room in NYC and can't wait to get this thing started! Gulibon is a big X factor here as he showed some signs late in the year that he is regaining the form that got him AA honors at 133 last year. We need him out early because he isn't cutting much weight so, as the days wear on and the sessions get tougher, he could benefit from having some extra energy. Lets hope he is gone by then!

I would not worry about Gulibon. He has been disappointing all year. Not cutting weight hurts him. He is not big enough for this weight class. He had to move up to make room for Conway.

Oh, I know all that, but there is a long history of guys who have made the stand before looking like trash all year and, suddenly, getting it rolling at NCAAs. Beating Micah Jordan and Gasca at Big 10s (both of whom he had recently lost to) is ominous. He had 9 losses last year too (7 before the tournament) and ended up 5th. He shouldn't be an AA, but 141 is one of the few places where Penn State has a chance to over perform and salt the title away (184 is probably the other if McCutcheon is actually healthy).
