I'm hopeful as well that he'll become work to become more dynamic. I think he's gotta be seriously disappointed with this year's finish and he'll want to change the things that held him back. I think seeing two teammates become champions and they were the most dynamic offensively will be a wakeup callI wanted to break down a few stats for whomever thinks that Jamison could potentially lose his spot next year.
He was 21-6 this year with all of his losses being against the top 7 placers at NCAA's.
#1 Mendez L Dec
#4 Composto L Dec Bloodround
#5 Happell (2) L both in SV
#6 Koderhandt L SV
#7 Frost L SV
He had wins against
#2 Hardy at CKLV
And against Alirez (who was a previous National Champ)
His losses were against the top guys at the weight and guys who in my opinion he couldn't just over power with a double leg. He was 1 takedown away from winning all of these matches. If Jamison can become more offensive and develop something other than a double leg this off-season I think he had the other tangibles to be a top place finisher at this weight. Not sure who all moves out next year but he should be very close to the top. He just needs to work on a couple of things offensively.
Yes, he got beat at this tourney by the guys that got 4th and 6th.I wanted to break down a few stats for whomever thinks that Jamison could potentially lose his spot next year.

Great info. I was a little down on Tagen going forward but overlooked/unknown facts put things back in perspective. Thanks for taking the time to research and post this.I wanted to break down a few stats for whomever thinks that Jamison could potentially lose his spot next year.

2/8 plus Alirez are done.Any idea how many in top 8 are graduating at 141? Will help Tagen a lot if lot of them graduate.
3/8 right? Happel, Bartlett and Koderhandt2/8 plus Alirez are done.
That's great. Assumption is Marcus blaze comes in for PSU at 141, only 4-5 guys will be in Tagen level. If he can maintain his weight.3/8 right? Happel, Bartlett and Koderhandt
No, Happel is a junior.3/8 right? Happel, Bartlett and Koderhandt
Happel is a RS-SrNo, Happel is a junior.
Yeah I delete it bc I had to fact check myself on that oneI think jr
According to the Nothern Iowa website he is a RS-Sr.Happel has another year
Don't know how he'd have more. He competed in the '22, '23, '24, '25 postseasons.Flo has him listed as a JR on there rankings and I thought I heard on one of the broadcast he had another year. Oh well if he's done great one less spot to jump in the rankings.
