We’ve got to consistently get Brennan Presley more involved next year

Why did it take us until the bowl game to get Brennan Presley this involved in the offense??? He had 10 catches for 137 yards against Notre Dame. This should be close to his production EVERY STINKING GAME.

Before the Fiesta he had 40 catches on the season. He had ONE FOURTH of that total in the bowl game! Before the Fiesta, he had about 480 yards receiving. He had NEARLY A THIRD of that total in the bowl game!

And, as Guerin Emig did a great job of pointing out in his story today, he may have had the most important catch of the game on Saturday. The catch that was low from SS on 3rd-and-long on the first drive of the second half was corralled (no pun intended. okay, maybe a little) by Brennan off the ground saved the drive and probably changed the game. If you remember, the catch was challenged but upheld. Without that catch, we punt and don’t pull within a score and our momentum is gone.

The same thing happened with Brennan last year. Practically unused the entire season in 2020, then he had 6 catches for 118 yards and 3 scores against Miami in the bowl game.

I can almost understand 2020 because a) he was a true freshman, and (more importantly) b) he was playing behind Dillon Stoner.

Are we trying to keep our secret weapon a secret?

The dude can ball!

TURN BRENNAN LOOSE!! GET HIM THE BALL!! Don’t let him be another Tyreek Hill!

Oh, and by the way, he can be an incredible ambassador for us. He appears to have an outstanding personality.

Matt Taibbi Talks About Louden County School Crisis And Democrat Mistakes

In his own way he’s begging the Democrats to come to their senses. The Dems didn't listen to him about Trump/Russia, Russia, Russia, so it’s unlikely they’ll listen to him about this. I declare those people have fallen down the rabbit hole of delusion coupled with hubris.

Future Coordinators clause

With the recent f*#@*'g over of Knowles, how about a school like OSU take a chance and do this in the future. I feel Gundy has a good rep of finding needles in the haystack. If so, we hire you at x (say $1 million/year). We will guarantee you X years. Before the last year, we can offer to extend your contract and the full offer amount is your buyout. If you leave, we get that amount. Gundy likes to take chances, why not make them take a chance?

To the players and coaching staff: Why this team is so special

One of the best things about this Oklahoma State football team is that it was so unexpected.

* Very few at the beginning of the season - even among their own fans - really expected them to make the Big XII championship game, but they did.
* Very few at the beginning of the season - even among their own fans - really expected them to go to a New Year's Bowl, but they did.
* Some didn't expect them to beat OU - even among their own fans - but they did.
* Some didn't expect them to beat Notre Dame - even among their own fans - but they did.

They overcame a lot of criticism and naysayers. Our quarterback, our offensive line, offensive coordinator, and our head coach were all criticized throughout the year, including at times by me. But in the end, this team overcame.

But the best thing about this team was that they NEVER quit.

* They were down against Tulsa in the fourth quarter - playing with their backup quarterback - and they came back to win.
* They were down against Boise St. - on the road - and they rallied back.
* They were down two touchdowns against Texas - in Austin - and they didn’t quit.
* They were down against OU - and they came back to win.
* They were down in the Big XII championship game against Baylor - BY THREE TOUCHDOWNS - and they were inches away from winning.
* Heck, they were even down to Iowa State before being inches away from a first down that would likely have led to a victory.
* And, of course, they were down by 21 to the team with the greatest tradition in college football on New Year’s Day in the biggest bowl we’ve ever played in - AND WE CAME BACK TO WIN! - in the school's biggest come-from-behind victory EVER.

Kudos to the players and staff for never quitting and never caving to the criticism.

I was around for the 1984 season when we were ranked as high as No. 2 in the country; I was around for the 1988 season when we had Barry, Hart Lee, and Gundy; and I was around for the 2011 season when we had Weeden2Blackmon, but this was probably the best "ride" of them all.

I think I can speak for 99.9 percent of our fan base when i say - WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!

Loyal and True!
