We’ve produced standout players in most every position in the NFL except quarterback. Some schools have produced 5-10 qbs that excelled in the pros. Some schools with far worse records than ours, have produced good NFL quarterbacks.
I’m not sure why this is so, but former walk-ons like Mayfield are making tens of millions, and our best qbs in the past 50 years never made a big impression and the money that goes with it.
