Think Glass ends up with #1 seed at 157, due to Joseph's inactivity.

And the nutcase from Iowa State at 184 will not be wrestling.

If everyone wrestles to seed we’ll qualifying ten. With the exception of Boyd (only two Quals at 184) they just have to get close. Does anyone know how the Big 12 awards qualification? eg. 165 – the top six guys get in?

Yes-if there are 6 AQ, the top six placers get them. No wildcards from conference tournaments any more, the wildcards are now selected by NCAA

Do we know if Schafer and Joe Smith are hitting on all cylinders? Schafer should be able to get an invite even if he defaults out of the tournament.

Hate to think Schafer is not healed well enough to compete, but it would be worse if he were reinjured trying to get a better seed.

Schafer is in the same situation as Suriano is-if necessary, he could default out and get a wild card. Would hurt seeding, but he would get in.

Joseph doesn't have enough matches, or a high enough winning percentage. It would not be even close to a sure thing, he really needs to be firing and hit the top 3 and be an AQ. Don't leave it in the hands of the committee.

No info on their health status.

Edit-and after rereading your post, you already knew the other

Are the finals going to be live on tv? I saw they would be shown at 7 but obviously that will be tape delay

Guess the team race is already over...they're coming out firing this morning.

Joe looked so much more aggressive, hadn't seen him rip the arm out like that all year.

UO lost two ranked guys this morning to two rough riders. Clark Glass lost by dec. and Mejias lost by dec. Jeffries was nearly upset as well.

5 falls, 3 techs, and 2 majors. Dean and Kaids falls happen pretty close together on mat 4 and 1.

This is some tone out of the gate for the Boys! Little disappointed with OUs start.... only see 1 making the finals. The race for second might be the most exciting thing!

If possible can someone post results this evening? I am attending a wedding that starts at 6:00!
