The big reasons are that we already knew that Russia has those weapons, we know their operational capabilities ( and lack of).......we have very good intelligence on Russian capabilities, we do not on DPRK...........and the big reason, if the DPRK ever directly attacked us or one of our asserts, would could effectively retaliate and render them incapable of further attacks........we could not do that against Russia......President Trump very seldom lashes out against strong entities, usually only weak ones, or ones he perceives as weak

OK, got it. I’m thinking we won’t take much action in Syria in the near future. I understand that Israel has just about had enough of Hezbollah rockets in Lebanon. If they invade, look for Iran (and their free Obama money) and Russia to divert resources there.

My brother in law is a reservist in Oklahoma who is currently stationed 'somewhere in north western Iraq'. Basically, he is in the Syrian conflict today. Just saying.
I wonder how active a role they are playing right now. Seriously, I have no idea.
He's a helicopter mechanic and door gunner. He can't tell us much but I get the impression they are flying daily missions in an active forward position.
Was he in this recent deal where we wiped out the Russian mercenaries? They had helicopters involved.
