I love this comment! Isn’t it an interesting dynamic? The US’ existence is predicated on individualism, that the individual is the primary - indeed, the only! - proper foundation of rights. The left has attempted to subvert that focus and turn it into a defense of group rights. And yet through constant infighting and squabbling it is fracturing into smaller and smaller segments. Will it finally realize the only proper “segment” of society which we should defend is the individual?
