Accountability, Effort, Competition, Standard of Play, and Consequences for Failure Within the Team and coaches. That falls in the lap of the head coach!
Since Gundy is in control of all of it, without those things being demanded, you get the debacle we are witnessing. Not competitive within our league is the most damning!
Either the program is bigger than individual players or it isn’t. Evidence needs to be shown that the privilege of being an OSU Cowboy demands a standard and expectation of play and failure to meet it results in consequences for all contributors to that reality! It’s a team game definitely, but few are performing well enough to meet the standard and too many are not on both sides of the ball. Some grade well and others fail spectacularly! Fire their ass they aren’t meeting the standard this program represents!
We eagerly await those consequences (CHANGES) for the pitiful play we’ve witnessed from members of this team.
We have to have hope for the team and someone to give it by making overdue changes to provide it! Gundy is that firewall whether he likes it or not!
