The writers for the walkng dead seem to have some shows that are basically build up for the next show. That boring filler could be dispersed between two shows and therefore have a more consistent "oooooo and ahhhh" effect, but it's just not been that way.
I am a pretty fierce critic of most TV shows, in fact, I rarely find anything that intrigues me and can hold my attention. But WD has done that since it's inception. Not saying that my opinion is the greatest, but for a TV show to hold me captive to a Sunday night time slot is pretty good. Unless I DVR the episode lol....which I usually do since I refuse to waste one second watching commercials.
I would imagine we will get one more season out of the show and that will be it. The same schtick of waiting for someone to get killed and hoping it's not Darryl is getting old lol. I haven't read the graphic novel, so I don't know what the possible ending May be. But I know that most shows run about 6-7 years, so we are probably getting close to the end.
Out of all the characters that have been killed, I wish they would have not killed off Herschel or Merle.
