Vodka sauce. Give me your best recipe

Title and CranMango. Nutrition with a buzz.

There are so many good lower cost options now I personally don’t understand why people pay premiums. Yes there is some rank, rot gut stuff, but if you’re mixing, which most people are, it’s silly to spend big dollars. I’ve been buying New Amsterdam for awhile. Nice and smoothe and less that $20 a handle. If I’m drinking a straight martini I’ll probably use Tito’s.

Not to hijack too much, but I’d love to hear some discussion of people’s Gin exploration. I recently got turned onto “the Botanist” and find in delicious. There is a huge flavor range in gins and some really creative options are now in the marketplace.

Not really what you asked, but I ordered a Gin and Tonic at the new "fancy" steakhouse in Enid. The young waitress looked at my crosseyed, asked me 3 times what I ordered. I even said "you know, a G&T", and then 20 minutes later brought me a Jim Beam and Tonic..... Do not recommend, and she still charged me $14 for it.

Wow .. mark that place off of your places to go.

G&T is my favorite mixed drink .. 9 fo 10 times I am just neat brown liquor guy but a good G&T is fantastic on the palatte

Hendricks is maybe my favorite .. gins are all so different though
Aviation
Beefeater - for the value and tasty in a G&T
Bombay Sapphire - I think is my wife's favorite

Plan on doing a gin distillery tour in the UK this summer and get to mix my own gin wiht botanicals that match my tastes .. interesting to see how that goes.

Yeah. I’m wondering if anyone else around here has been to that place yet. They aren’t off to a great start.

Even though G&T is always my go to cocktail, I don’t know much about gin, other than I’ve never had one I didn’t like. I always choose New Amestrdam when I’m replenishing at home. It’s around $20 and I can’t tell the difference in that and Bombay or whatever.

Millennials don’t know what a gin and tonic is. Hilarious! I snorted! My homies at OSU called this “jet fuel!”

Gin and soda is my cocktail of choice. Hendricks is what I drink 90% of the time. When I can get my hands on it, I really like Brooklyn Gin as well.

Try the Botanist. I think you’ll really like it.
