He will plead guilty, no trial, judge gets to determine sentence. Hope is judge is more lenient than a jury would be.

Not in court record but if you click the link on the cited statute it talks a lot about abuse of an “intimate partner”.

Why Would Anyone Seek a Blind Plea?

There are reasons why a defendant might take a blind plea bargain. For example, if the judge has a record of going easy on people who plead guilty, or if the prosecution has a very good case but refuses to cut a deal, then a blind plea might be a risk worth taking.

A defendant may take a blind plea when there is no lesser included offense for a plea bargain or when the prosecution imposes a very unfavorable plea bargain. A lenient judge might hand down a lighter sentence if a blind plea is paired with clear signs of regret, remorse, and other actions.

Some individuals might prefer taking a chance with the judge and not trusting the prosecution. Individuals with a long criminal history and extensive experience with the prosecution might be hesitant to trust them. However, every defendant should trust their attorney, whether a criminal defense lawyer or a public defender.

If you go to a bench trial or jury trial, the evidence is presented, and the state must either meet their burden of proof or acquit you. There is no middle ground. There is a lot of risk in going before a jury because no one knows how a jury will rule. However, if you face a prosecutor you don’t feel will give you a fair recommendation, a blind plea may be the best option for you.

Holy shi.... Yeah. His days wrestling in college are over.

The OSCN site was updated today. Looks like Anthony agreed to pay nearly $700 for various fees.

Don't know if there's anything more on the case.

Deferred sentence in Oklahoma is basically probation. They defer the sentencing while you complete your probation and once you do the case is dismissed
I knew it.People claiming his life and wrestling career were over. The right lawyer and money can get you out of a lot.Pathetic.

Pathetic that he got out of it or pathetic that people thought his wrestling career was over?

It is pathetic that he got out of it but is anyone really surprised? I expect every major program outside of OSU to at least contact him.

THE PROGRAM THE SIGNS HIM WILL PLAY THE SECOND CHANCE CARD

He will likely have a lot of choices on where to go but I don’t think it’s going to be a free for all to sign him. He will want big money and he’s still a problem child.

I'm talking about AJ, who got paid the 6 figure WWE NIL deal and became a shit show thereafter. But the NIL WWE talk was maybe on a different thread. They tend to mush together.

You are correct Sir. My mistake. Too many Ferrari's are in trouble with the law to keep track.

Who the hell did Anthony assault?
You would have to go to the Payne County Court Clerk office and request that information personally. You can get some insight into the nature of the crime by clicking the hot link on the State Statute he was charged and plead no contest to.
