Not at all what he said.
She asked about undocumented "citizens" voting. He followed with a word lasagna that can be summed up as having said "Nobody checks that stuff. It's fine." Definitely not his finest work. Not at all what he said.

Yes, all these attempts at distraction and pointing to the past are tiresome. Nice that we can agree every now and then. This has grown stale.

It is stale, but it's some important perspective when Democrats are claiming to care about laws being broken.
The president of the United States was subtly implying to many millions of people who are here illegally (a crime), that they can vote (a crime) without serious risk (factually inaccurate).
What do you think would happen if an American Gringo was caught voting illegally in *any* country to our south?
If they were very very lucky, maybe they might get a walk of shame like below.
Otherwise, off to a deep dark prison and never heard from again, with no US embassy support. (And catching the gringo would widely celebrated by that country's people, media and government - nobody would say it's racist to celebrate either, lol)
That's not even funny. What if somebody was actually hurt?Agree.
As long as you ignore his last sentence, which was crystal clear, and completely counter to the title of the thread.
